Mary Eileen McDonnell (born April 28th 1952) is an American stage actor and TV actor. She was nominated to win an Academy Award for her role of Stands With A Fist in Dances with Wolves. She is also famous for her roles as Laura Roslin, President in Battlestar Galactica and the wife president in Independence Day.
